Uruguay’s population is approximately 3.45 million people, 1.8 million citizens live in the metropolitan area, and its biggest and capital city is Montevideo. After Suriname, Uruguay is the second smallest country in South America with roughly 176,000 square km (68,000 sq mi) area.

Uruguay’s cultural journeys also help to observe the colonial lineage of the country, such as discovered in the Colonia del Sacramento. The houses are most likely widely varied choices of cultural motives and in ethnic style in the capital city Montevideo. There are lots of historical monuments in the city like the Torres Garcia Museum. Anyway, tourists can experience the lively culture just by wandering in the streets.

Punta del Este is a small peninsula on the southeast shore of the country. The city is called “The Pearl of Atlantic”. It crosses with Mansa aka calmer part of the river, and Brava aka rocky part. The fish village waits to be invested as only 823 people live in Punto del Diablo. There is a center for sea turtles in the village as well. You can see the endemic plants and its unique flora in Ombu Forest

You can experience nature and have a detox in Cabo Polonio.

Rocha is another holiday destination in Uruguay. Rocha is also a fish town and has rocky sea. It can be a different and peaceful experience having a vacation in Rocha as there are less tourists than in the city. Anyway, you can get to experience the local culture and enjoy your vacation.
